“Caffeine Free and Full of Energy” | Dennis Wong on YOR Health Customer’s New Motto

Dennis WongKathleen Boostsri was a caffeine addict who consumed up to 500 mg of the methylxanthine central nervous system stimulant each day. According to Dennis Wong of YOR Health, Boostsri was headed down a dangerous path with her caffeine consumption. In 2008, she made a decision that would change her life, and possibly save it.

Bootsri first heard about Dennis Wong and YOR Health in 2008. She was a young professional who drank a combination of three to five energy drinks and cups of coffee each day. She was always jittery and struggled daily to focus in between caffeine crashes. Dennis Wong says YOR Health products, including YOR SuperGreens, YOR Essential Vitamins, and YOR Shake helped Bootsri kick the habit. She now enjoys a more robust and energetic life, without the ups and downs associated with caffeine.

Caffeine, a captivating culprit

In moderation, caffeine is typically considered safe for most adult, says Dennis Wong. The YOR Health co-founder and advocate points out, however, that too many cups of coffee and energy drinks can have unpleasant and potentially terrifying consequences, including:

  • Insomnia
  • Restlessness
  • Loss of bladder control
  • Heart palpitations
  • Muscle tremors
  • Nervousness
  • Stomach upset

Caffeine is also a noted migraine trigger and may exacerbate other conditions such as anxiety and stress.

Dennis Wong of YOR Health notes that many people use caffeine as part of a weight loss program. While caffeine may quell appetite temporarily, he notes there are many safer and more effective ways to manage weight problems for those who are negatively affected by caffeine.

Wong suggests getting plenty of sleep and eating a colorful diet – one that includes green, orange, and red vegetables, plenty of fruits, brain-healthy carbohydrates, and ample fiber. YOR Health products, such as YOR Shake and YOR Digest Ultra, offer a number of health benefits, when added to an already-healthy diet.
